Renea Joleen Williams-Deines, 54, of WaKeeney, KS, passed away on October 2, 2023.  Renea was born in WaKeeney on March 16, 1969. She graduated from Trego Community High School and continued furthering her education, earning multiple college credit hours.

Renea was united in marriage to Alfred Katt and had two children.  She worked as a cashier for Malay's Market for over a year. She loved speaking with everyone who came into the store, keeping up on the latest news around the community, and always had a cheerful demeanor and a contagious smile.  Renea was known for her empathy towards others, which she exhibited during her time working at the Trego Lemke Memorial Hospital as well as the Trego County EMS.

Renea is survived by her partner, Mikeal Williams, children, Daneille Katt of Rochester, MN, and Brandon and Marc Katt-Kent of Manhattan, KS, brother, Shawn (Kerah) Deines, sisters, Janelle Deines, and Brenda Hilmes, all siblings, of WaKeeney, KS, and other family and friends.

Renea was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and LeVay Deines, and brother-in-law, Kenneth Hilmes.

The family would like to invite everyone to a social gathering and meal in Renea's honor to be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 3:30pm - 6:30pm, located at 201 North 4th Street.
