Paul Michael Kaiser was born July 26, 1983, in WaKeeney, KS, to David L. and Louella M. (Stefan) Kaiser. He passed away at his home in WaKeeney on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at the age of 29. He was a lifelong resident of WaKeeney.


He attended schools in WaKeeney and graduated from Trego Community High School with the class of 2001.

Paul was a member of the modern rock band, 3 X 7, which performs in Western Kansas areas and just recently has gone out of state. He played bass and ran the lights and sounds for the group. He loved to debate politics with anyone he met. Paul loved animals especially his 'dumpster kitty', Marley.


He leaves to mourn his parents, Dave and Louella of WaKeeney; two brothers Eric Kaiser and wife, Nichole, of Hill City, Ryan Kaiser of WaKeeney; paternal grandmother, Amelia Kathryn Kaiser; and nephews, Michael Darin Otta, Harley David Kaiser, and James Duane Kaiser; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

His paternal grandfather, George P. Kaiser; his maternal grandparents, Melchoir and Theresia (Wildeman) Stefan; and two uncles, John Stefan and Melvin Stefan preceded him in death.

A Memorial service for Paul will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 13, 2012 in Schmitt Funeral Home at WaKeeney. Family will be present 9:00 AM until time of service to greet friends.
