Milton "Milt" Roth, 86, of Wichita, died Thursday, April 5, 2018.  He was born in Hays, Kansas in 1932.

Milt was raised in Wakeeney, Kansas where he met the love of his life, Nathalee, at the ripe old age of 16 years.  They would marry four years later after his sophomore year at Kansas State University.  Once he finished his degree in architectural engineering, Milt took a job in Salina with Wilson & Company and they moved with their first child, Judy.

Salina would become their home for the next 55 years where they raised their 7 children.  Milt was very active in the Catholic community through St. Mary's church where he served as a lector for over 3 decades.  He also sang in the choir led by his wife.  Meanwhile he worked on engineering projects throughout the state including Salina's library, county courthouse, South High School and the interstate highway system.

He is preceded by wife, Nathalee, while survived by his children, Judy Roth (Kim Morgan), Mike (Glenda) Roth, Lori Usher (Jim Ziegler), Doug (Laura) Roth, Nancy Kersenbrock, Ginny Roth and Dave (Darbie) Roth; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday, May 12 at Schmitt Funeral Home, Wakeeney.
