Mary Lou Logue, age 64, of WaKeeney, KS, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, KS. She was born in San Diego, CA on August 27, 1955, to Betty Cox. Mary graduated from Cowley County Community College with an Associate's degree in architecture.

Mary served in her community as a senior companion for a number of years, greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them in their sports and activities, as well as playing card games, especially pinochle and pitch, regularly.

Mary is survived by her mother; sons Timothy (Buffy) Logue of Geuda Springs, KS, and Grant (Stacy) Logue of Ogallah, KS; grandchildren Ariana Logue, Michaella Robinson, Caleb Logue, Caden Logue, Colben Logue, Alyssa Logue, and Kaley Logue; and sister Crystal (Ernie) Sawyer, of Canyon City, CO.

No public services will be held at this time. Memorials are suggested to the Senior Companions Program or Humane Society of the High Plains. Donations to the organizations may be sent care of Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12 th St. WaKeeney, KS 67672.
