Mary C. Dreiling, 88, of Grinnell passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 in Quinter, Kansas. Mary was married to Eugene Dreiling on August 30, 1947 in Purcell, Ks. They moved to Grinnell soon after and lived there for the 65 years of their married life.
Mary participated in the Altar Society at Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell for many years. Most of all, she was a dedicated wife and mother of four children: Linda Dickman (Pat) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Robert G Dreiling, Cheryl Stephens (Bob) of Oakley and Kathy Hartman (Bob) of Grainfield. She had five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary E. Baker and William H. Baker, three brothers, a sister and her son, Robert G Dreiling.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter. A private family inurnment will take place at a later time.
There will be no visitation as her body was cremated.
