First and foremost, Marlin was a family man, fully involved in the upbringing and development of his children. He possessed a deep love for his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his children, providing strength in their sorrows and celebrating their accomplishments. Marlin was a faithful and devoted husband, and he used his sharp wit to bring humor and happiness to his marriage. Easily forming lifelong friendships, he will always be remembered as a loyal companion and a good listener. A soft-spoken and hard-working physician, he showed care and compassion for his patients and considered them to be his friends. He appreciated the joys of life, found the best in others, and always gave of himself. Throughout his life, and especially during his struggle with illness, Marlin displayed qualities of courage, confidence, determination, and humility. He graced our lives, and we will be forever blessed with his spirit.
