Margaret Ann Gassmann Bruggeman lived 81 years until her death on the 25 ^th day of February 2023. She was welcomed to life in the family home by her parents Joseph Gassmann and wife Germaine Kreutzer Gassmann on the 31 ^st day of July 1941 and they were there to welcome her into eternal life along with her siblings; Conrad Gassmann, Pius Gassmann, Julius Gassmann, Rupert "Bob" Gassmann, Alice (Gassmann) Wagoner, Josephine Gassmann, Agnes (Gassmann) Bollig, Joseph Gassmann, and Henry Gassmann.

A lifelong resident of Kansas, Margaret was a skilled seamstress who enjoyed gardening and cooking. She wore out more than one car as an Avon Lady.  She was a dietitian at Decatur County Hospital and spent her latter years working for Wal-Mart in McPherson.  Loved by her grandchildren and adored by her great-grandchildren she lived to see the joy on their faces - or rather she lived for the joy they brought to hers.

Margaret is survived by her three children; Dennis and wife Carmen Bruggeman of Assaria, KS, Thomas, and wife Maureen Bruggeman of Selden, KS, and Bernadette and husband Chuck Sanders of Wichita, KS, eight grandchildren; Lacey, Clay, Raeschele, Jarred, Kalinda, Kayla, Chase and Brooke, seven great-grandchildren; Rhieleigh, Braelynne, Charles "Luke", Phoenix, Jaxon, Bonnie, and Vanessa, as well as Margaret's remaining siblings; Clementine, Delores, and Martin.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 6 ^th , 2023 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Grainfield, with inurnment to follow in Grainfield City Cemetery. Her family will receive friends the evening prior from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the church's Education Center with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m.
