Leonard Scott Breeden, age 51, of Colby, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, near Rexford in a motor vehicle accident. He was born April 1, 1962, in Hays, to Kenneth and Patricia (Berry) Breeden.
He attended Quinter High School and McPherson College. On April 16, 1992, he was united in marriage to Carrie Seifer. They later divorced. Survivors include a son A.J. of Colby; a daughter Jo of Colby; his father Kenneth and step mother Shirley; a brother John of Missouri; two sisters Rebecca Rhea of Colby and Leona Breeden of Hays; and a step brother Steve Schindler of Topeka. Also surviving are many uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; step sister Dori Wageman; and his grandparents.
Graveside inurnment and committal service will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Quinter Cemetery.
