Jesse James Jacka passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 in Quinter, Kansas at the age of 23. He was born November 9, 1989 to Robert "BJ" and Lori (Gerstner) Jacka in Quinter, Kansas.
Jesse attended Quinter High School. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, coyote hunting with his dad, building coyote wagons for his nephew, driving semi trucks, his dogs, Jane, Lila, Shag and Daisy. He really enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and was always known to be a bit onery.
Left to mourn his passing are his parents, a brother Christopher (Spring) Jacka of Quinter; a sister, Lacie Jacka and Michael Turner of Hays, Kansas; grandmother, Darlene Gerstner; nieces, Meagan, Teagan and Camden; nephews, Jonathan, Jaden and Axel; special friends, Justin Roesch, Austin Heier, James and Kim Mayfield, Seth and Kyla Slaubaugh. Along with aunts, uncles, cousins, many other friends and acquaintances.
Jesse is preceded in death by his brother Bae Jacka; grandparents, Dwane Jacka, Betty Jacka and Jim Gerstner.
A memorial service for Jesse will be Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Quinter with Pastor Kennedy Mukwindidza officiating.
