Helen Moos was born June 10, 1943 to Frank Engelbert and Anna Marie (Reitmeyer) Geschwentner in Trego County, Kansas. She passed away February 12, 2010 in the Trego Manor in WaKeeney at the age of 66.
Helen attended local schools and graduated from Ellis High School with the class of 1961.
Helen was very direct and you always knew how you stood with her. She loved her cats and enjoyed her friends in Hays she had for many years. She also enjoyed drawing and painting.
Survivors include two brothers, Glenn Geschwentner of Russell and Jo Geschwentner and wife Dorothy of Quinter; one sister, Frances Oberle and husband Leon of WaKeeney; two adopted daughters, Sara and Amy, and her nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her father Frank; and two sisters, Mary Augustine and Tillie Geschwentner.
We remember Helen today and all that made her who she was-all that delighted her, that made her laugh or moved her to tears, calling to mind her story. She will be missed.
