Gladys Mae Sellers, age 91, of WaKeeney, Kansas, passed away on June 16, 2022, early in the morning. Gladys was born in WaKeeney on September 29, 1930. Gladys graduated from Trego Community High School.

Gladys was united in marriage to Douglas Sellers on September 2, 1951. They were married for 45 years. She worked as a store owner for D-J Flowers for 18 years. She enjoyed being a housewife, raising her 2 sons, and living on the farm where she was born when she was not working.

She was also actively involved in many clubs and sororities.

Gladys is survived by her 2 sons Randy and Mike; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Doug; parents John and Freda; and brother Alfred Schemm.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30am on June 23, 2022, at the WaKeeney City Cemetery with Pastor Kim officiating.
