Gale Lee Kirk, age 68, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023, in Quinter, KS.

Gale was Born in Scott City, Ks on November 21, 1954, to Roy and Margueritte (Fankhouser) Kirk. He graduated from Hayden High School, Hayden, CO. He married Pamela Kirk on February 16, 2007, and were happily married for nearly 16 years.

Gale enlisted in the Navy on August 24, 1977. He served 5 years and 2 months before he was injured during his service. He received an Honorable Discharge.

His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and other various outdoor activities. He loved spending time joking around with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing cards at the casino.

Gale was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard Kirk and Melvin Kirk, and sister Rita Gingrich.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Kirk; his brother, Klifton Kirk; his sister, Aleece Collamore; two sons, Chad Harkness and Dewayne Kirk; two daughters, Michelle Matthews and Cassiebelle Handlin; 11 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Dighton, KS on Sunday, January 22, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM.

Memorial contributions can be sent to the family at 303 N. Elm St, Dighton, KS 67839. The contributions will be donated in Gale's name to an organization determined at a later date.
