Douglas "Doug" Lee Clore, 60 of WaKeeney passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2015. He was born March 4, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Robert and Bertha Virginia (Conner) Clore. Doug earned a Master's Degree in Psychology, and worked as a Clinical Psychotherapist.
Doug was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Doug loved John Deere. He enjoyed going camping and scuba diving. Doug cherished time spent with his family, and was very giving of his time, especially helping troubled youth.
Doug was preceded in death by his father Robert Clore, along with his grandparents Oberon and Bertha Conner. He is survived by his wife Deborah Clore, three daughters Kristina Clore of WaKeeney, Cynthia Wireman and her husband Greg of Las Vegas, NV; Ericka Pfeifer and husband Lavern of WaKeeney; nine grandchildren, Matthew and wife Lora Pfeifer of Manhattan, Joshua Pfeifer of Manhattan, Taylor and Evan Schonhoff, Kaylie and Morgan Wireman of Las Vegas, NV, Molly Johnson and Isabella Clore of WaKeeney; mother Bertha Virginia Clore, sister Nancy (Clore) Cutter and family of Denver along with brother Don Clore and family of Seattle, WA.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Doug Clore Memorial Fund, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
