Darla D. Blackwill passed away June 26, 2018 at the age of 61.  She was born April 18, 1957 to parents Dwane and Beth Jacka in Quinter, Kansas.  She married Floyd Blackwill in Quinter on July 4, 1981. Together they ran a successful cattle trucking business.  They moved to Pahrump, NV in 2008. Darla was the stepmother to Floyd's five children, but you never said 'step' to her, because she loved and cared for them like they were her own.  She is survived by husband, Floyd Sr.; and five children, Floyd Jr., Keith, Tom, Sandi Armbruster and Terry; eleven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Schmitt Funeral Home Quinter.
