When Nadine was not busy with volunteer work, she was busy with family, friends, and other activities. She was an avid reader of Indian lore and all things educational. She loved doing hand craft including knitting, crochet, and embroidery, sharing her enthusiasm for hand work with family and friends. Music played an important part in her life also. She collected unique music instruments, delighting in teaching others about them. When she could no longer play the piano, she read the music verses to anyone who would listen. She was always willing to play games and watch TV with the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tea parties, complete with homemade snacks were common. The little ones referred to her as the "Fun Grandma." Camping was an activity shared with both husbands. From the cabin at Cedar Bluff Lake with Al, to weekends all over the state with the Cedar Bluffer's and Lawrence, Nadine was sure to be involved. Friends knew she could be counted on whatever situation. She was willing to give herself, her time, and her knowledge.
Nadine made certain that her children knew the importance of family and friends, the values of a good education, the worth of community service and involvement, and the necessity of spiritual grounding. She was greatly loved and will be missed.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
