Charles William Jamison, son of William and Anna (Garber) Jamison, was born in Gove County, Kansas on September 6, 1945. Our Savior called him home on March 13, 2010. He lived his whole life near Quinter, Kansas. He enjoyed his occupation as a skilled carpenter and had a passionary vision for each project he performed.


He was united in marriage to Donna Sue Wagoner on February 14, 1965. They were blessed with four children: Randall, Douglas, Kevin, and Karen. Left to cherish memories of him are his loving wife Donna, three sons, one daughter and their companions: Randall and Pam Jamison, Doug and Carrie Jamison, Kevin and Anita Jamison, Karen and Dale Benedict. Twelve grandchildren: Macey, Brock and Chet Jamison, Austin and Dylan Jamison, Jordan, Elle, Amber and Abby Jamison, Andre, Ian and Izeke Benedict, one very special brother: Gary (Chub) Jamison. Brothers: Calvin Jamison and wife, Ethel, and Galen Jamison. Sisters: Anna Mae and husband, Leon Hirt, Janet and husband, Galen Edgecomb,


Charles and Donna felt the calling of the Holy Spirit and were baptized into Christ, and His Body, the church, on October 13, 1965. He lived a joyful life with the Lord and was always interested in the welfare of the youth and children around him. His grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends were all so special to him.


He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Maxine Jamison, a sister -in- law: Brenda Jamison, and a nephew: Jeremy Edgecomb.


We are confident that his devotion and faith in his Savior, Jesus Christ, has secured him a mansion above.


When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!

Visitation for Charles will be 2:30-4:30 & 6-8 PM on Wednesday March 17, 2010 at Schmitt Funeral Home in Quinter, KS.

Services will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 18, 2010 in the Quinter High School Auditorium.
