Beulah Marie "Boots" Jones, age 88, passed away at the Trego County-Lemke Memorial Long Term Care in WaKeeney, Kansas. She was born on April 17, 1935, in Maysville, Missouri, the daughter of Cleo and Marjorie (Folk) Bradford.

Boots was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney, having been baptized on June 4, 2006. She spent most of her adult life serving her community as a waitress and cook at many local restaurants. She will be fondly remembered for the wonderful pies, especially coconut cream, that she baked. In her spare time and after retirement Boots enjoyed crocheting doilies and blankets for her family and friends.

She married Bennie Lee Coleman and together they raised their family until his death. She later married Donald B. Jones in August 1976 in WaKeeney, Kansas.

She is survived by her son, Randall A. Weed, of WaKeeney; three daughters, Debra (Coleman) Fabrizius and her husband, Myron, of WaKeeney, Mary (Coleman) Masden of WaKeeney, and Elizabeth (Coleman) Keiswetter and her husband, Rex, of Hill City; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Boots is preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Jackie Ray Coleman; a daughter, Barbara Jean Unrein; two sisters, Mary and Imogene; and one brother, Junior.

A funeral service will be held on April 29, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney with Pastor Jon Anderson presiding with burial in the WaKeeney City Cemetery. A visitation will be at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Memorial Contributions may be given to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Senior Companions, or the Phillipsburg Hospice.
