Alan Wayne Owens, affectionately known as 'Big Al', passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on February 1, 1964, in WaKeeney, Kansas, Alan was a man of many talents and endless creativity. He loved to cook, garden, paint cars, and rebuild them with remarkable skill. There was little he couldn't do with his hands, and he found joy in creating, fixing, and bringing new life to the things around him. He will be remembered for his big heart and hardworking spirit. Alan never met a stranger; once you met him, you were family.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Zachary Williams, and granddaughter, Hallie Williams. Alan is also survived by his five siblings: Paula Beydler and spouse, Kelly Owens and spouse, Ronda Herskowitz and spouse, Dave Owens, and Cher Fouty and spouse.
