Aaron Dean Koehn was born May 31, 1980, in WaKeeney, KS, to Darren and Cindy (Billinger) Koehn. He passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in the Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital at WaKeeney at the age of 30, following a long battle with cancer.

He attended schools in WaKeeney in early years and graduated from Wichita SE High School in the year 1999.

He enjoyed music.


Those left to mourn his passing are his father and step-mother, Darren and Lisa Koehn of WaKeeney, his mother and step-father, Cindy and Stan Boor of Hays; a brother, Jordan Koehn of Hoxie; step-brother, James Moore of Miliken, CO; a sister, Tessa Koehn of Hays; step-sisters, Amanda Werth and husband, Brandon, of Park City, Jackie Pollack and husband, Adam, of Palatka, FL, Nancy Monson of Colorado Springs, CO; his maternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Billinger of Hays, JoAnn Billinger of Russell; his paternal grandmother, Doris Koehn, of WaKeeney; his great-grandmothers, Rita Billinger and Hubertine Stramel, both of Hays; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Weldon Koehn.

Services for Aaron will be held Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM in Schmitt Funeral Home at WaKeeney with visitation at 10:00 AM until time of service.
